JULIE URIARTE, CPA, MPA, PHR, SHRM-CP, QKA®

Julie Uriarte joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in April 2013 as an assistant vice president. She was then promoted to vice president in December 2023. 

Julie leads the compliance department in our Retirement Plan Solutions division. Her expertise and responsibilities include plan design and consulting, as well as ERISA regulated compliance testing and tax reporting for employee benefit plans. 

Before joining TCO, Julie served as a human resources consultant for ONEOK. Prior to her employment with ONEOK, she was a human resources business partner with Community Care HMO. 

Earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas, Julie majored in political science and Spanish with a minor in French. She then earned her master’s degree in public administration from the University of Oklahoma. 

Julie holds both her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management — Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications. She also holds her Qualified 401(K) Administrator™ (QKA^®) designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Additionally, Julie was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2021.

Julie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, and the Tulsa Employee Benefits Group, previously serving on their steering committee. 

Julie has two elementary age children who attend the School of Saint Mary. She currently holds the vice president position in their Home & School and will serve as president of the organization the following school year. Julie is also enrolled in Leadership Tulsa Class 70.
