Taylor, Medina Join Trust Company of Oklahoma
TULSA, Okla. (May 1, 2013) – Melissa Taylor, J.D., LL.M., and Julissa Medina, MPA, PHR, have joined Trust Company of Oklahoma as vice president and assistant vice president, respectively. Taylor is a personal trust administrator, specializing in client trust and estate needs while Medina is responsible for compliance and client and participant reporting in the employee benefits group.
Taylor came to TCO from Gable & Gotwals, where she practiced tax law, probate administration, trust and estate planning and employee benefits law. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma in 1999 with degrees in letters and classics. Taylor then taught Latin for five years before earning her law degree from the University of Tulsa. While at TU, she was recognized as “Most Outstanding Student.” After this, Taylor earned her LL.M in taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Medina joined TCO from ONEOK where she was a human resources consultant. Before this, she was with CommunityCare HMO as a human resources business partner. Medina earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas, majoring in political science and Spanish with a minor in French. She earned her master’s in public administration from the University of Oklahoma. Medina is a certified human resource professional and is a current member of the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.
